Brad Peacock Headed To The Bullpen For The Next Two Weeks
Brad Peacock will be moved to the bullpen for the Astros' upcoming road trip. The team has enough off days in the next two weeks to make a four-man rotation feasible. Peacock had a dynamite outing in his first start of the season, but he was lit up for five runs on seven hits by the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. With this decision, Peacock's next start projects to come on April 22 against the Minnesota Twins. He should still be held onto in practically all formats, as he projects to be in the rotation for the rest of the season.

Royals Sign Brad Peacock
Brad Peacock to a minor league deal on Monday. Peacock wasn't on a 40-man roster at the end of last year despite briefly pitching for the Boston Red Sox in 2021, so he was able to sign during MLB's lockout. The 34-year-old has spent eight of his 10 major league seasons pitching for the Houston Astros, and he was successful as a starter and reliever from 2016-19, when he had a 3.48 ERA in 320 1/3 innings. Peacock had shoulder surgery in the fall of 2020 and has thrown just 2 1/3 innings since. The righty allowed nine runs in 5 1/3 innings for Boston last year and wasn't much better at Triple-A, posting an 8.00 ERA in 36 innings.
