6 years agoChicago Cubs starter Jon Lester was forced to leave Monday's start in the top of the third inning due to an apparent injury. It is currently unknown what the ailment is, but he looked awkward rounding the bases during the bottom of the second inning. Lester tossed two scoreless frames, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out four batters. Brad Brach entered the game as a replacement. More will be known about the injury after the game, but hopefully, it is nothing serious for the 35-year-old.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
