Marcus Stroman Average In Loss To Indians
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman allowed three runs on six hits through six innings of work during a 3-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Sunday afternoon. He stuck out six batters while walking one. The most trouble came in the first inning, as he allowed three straight hits with two outs that cashed in two runs. The 27-year-old has had a solid beginning to the season despite his 0-2 record. He is carrying a 2.41 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 18/6 K/BB rate through three starts. Stroman is an adequate mid-tier fantasy starter so long as he maintains a clean bill of health. He is expected to take on the Tampa Bay Rays in his next start, who have been on a roll in the early portion of the season.
