Domingo German Flirts With No-No In Victory
6 years agoStill a member of the starting rotation due to injuries, New York Yankees right-hander Domingo German was stellar against the Orioles Sunday afternoon. The Dominican native carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning, eventually surrendering a single before retiring the side unharmed. The 26-year-old would record his second victory in as many starts to kick off 2019, providing solid results as a fill-in while his fellow Yankees pitchers recover from injuries. In the seventh, he put the first two runners on base before being pulled. His final stat line saw him go six innings and allow two runs on two walks and two hits, striking out three along the way.
