6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn could be an interesting cheap DFS option on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. Lynn struggled in his first outing, surrendering seven earned runs on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Chicago Cubs. He did manage to strike out five hitters in those innings, meaning there is some upside if he can limit the damage. Additionally, now he faces an Angeles lineup who came into the series with the Rangers having hit just one home run and ranking 29th in slugging percentage. There is plenty of risk, especially as we saw the Angels take Thursday's Rangers starter Edinson Volquez deep twice. Lynn mostly makes for an interesting option in GPP formats if you are looking to load up on an expensive starter and big bats.--Ben Rolfe
