Gleyber Torres Smacks Two Home Runs To Save Yankees
6 years agoThe New York Yankees were in need of someone to step up and get the offense going Thursday afternoon in Baltimore as they found themselves trailing once again. That person would turn out to be infielder Gleyber Torres, who had arguably the best game of his young career. Torres went 4-for-4 on the afternoon, drilling a pair of home runs, including a three-run blast that put his team ahead for good. He drove in half of his club's runs and was clearly the catalyst in his club's comeback victory.
