DJ LeMahieu Scores Run As Playing Time Rises
6 years agoOne thing became clear for the New York Yankees as the status of Miguel Andujar (shoulder) became a mystery: that's that infielder DJ LeMahieu will emerge with close to everyday status as a player on the club. The obvious option to replace Andujar at third base in the interim, LeMahieu did just that on Tuesday, batting fifth. In what would ultimately be a quiet offensive night for his club, he recorded two hits and scored the only run the Yankees would put on the board. The 30-year-old is batting .500 early on this season with a pair of RBI.
