DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/30/19): NBA DFS Lineups

Not too many options tonight and although the early slate of games might be more interesting than the later grouping, there is still plenty of flexibility when it comes to composing a roster. If you are playing in the early slate, James Harden, Spencer Dinwiddie, Joe Harris, and Aron Baynes are your go-to guys. All are on the high-upside end of the scale and, outside of Harden, shouldn't kill your remaining salary.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/30/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip.

Find me on Twitter @HalfCourtJester and let's talk basketball. Too many of these NBA-writing wannabe's spitting takes hotter than Devin Booker during an away game.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Mike Conley - PG at PHO ($7,600)

Despite missing a few games here and there, Mike Conley has been fairly consistent for Memphis, even having some massive outings to close out the season. His future is undetermined, and even if Conley stayed in Memphis as a mentor or veteran, his career to this point has been a great success. While all this is nice and touchy, against the Suns, there are two people who are getting rostered, and if you are a fast reader, you probably already saw the name floating right beneath this little segment.

This is the battle of the two worst teams in the West so you might as well roster the best players for both teams. If both have big games, fading either one means you aren't cashing out tonight. Conley has been "singing" to the tune of 20-3-6 lately, so look for something similar, but just more points.

Devin Booker - PG/SG vs. MEM ($9,700)

Devin Booker scoring 50 isn't really surprising anymore, but over the last week he has had an un-matched, FORTY-THREE PERCENT USAGE RATE. That right there makes him a must-play in every situation you can, not to mention he is facing the Grizzlies defense with nothing on the line. The Suns continue to lose despite Booker's efforts, and it seems as though he is doing everything in his power to help fantasy players. That's not the case, it's just a dumb joke, but it's always good to roster those players that set goals that revolve around scoring points and producing.

Tyreke Evans, Devin Booker, Dion Waiters are just a few names, but when one of these guys is on, he's scoring 30 minimum and absolutely finding teammates for some assists. Devin Booker versus the Grizzlies might be one of those picks with 100% ownership tonight so DO be wary.

 DraftKings DFS Forwards

Wesley Matthews - SG/SF vs. ORL ($4,000)

There are two options you can go with here. Both are cheap and tend to have "those" games more frequently, but what's the point of playing if you don't take any risk. Wesley Matthews was my first option because the Orlando Magic will have to allocate their defensive resources towards players that are NOT Wesley Matthews. That's really it. Matthews is still capable of having big games and he carries a significant impact on both ends of the court. His minutes are certain, but he's just not producing on a consistent level with Indiana. While I love his upside versus the Magic, simply because their defense forces shooters to actually hit their shots, maybe Matthews isn't your cup of tea. So let's move on to the next option.

Evan Turner - SG/SF at DET ($3,300)

I know this is 10x times worse than advising to pick Wesley Matthews, but sometimes you need to overlook those DFS-biases and take the picks for what they are. Evan Turner has not played well against the Pistons this year, and even looking back into last season, he still barely produced. While he failed to even take a single shot in the first game between these two teams, it's hard for me to see the Trail Blazers not utilizing Turner with the second unit. He is playing a consistent role in his 15-20 minutes a night, and it doesn't take but one or two mid-range jumpshots to really get him going.

His price being this low is half the reason I like Turner tonight, and with Portland in a weird, heavily-injured and needing a third-wheel situation, Turner is going to pick up some slack. He won't be that third-wheel consistently, but through the rest of the season Turner should be scoring closer to 10 points a game as the Trail Blazers start to change up their rotations for the end of season/start of playoffs run.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Boban Marjanovic- C at MIN ($3,500)

It's a well-known fact at this point that Boban Marjanovic produces when he is on the court. This season has been a little different for him though. He was traded mis-season to a team that doesn't need a center. It's not hard for the 76ers to find a spot for him in the rotation since "backup center" is basically beaming you in the face every time you look at him, you just need to play him in games where Coach Brett Brown will give him that chance.

If Philadelphia goes small, Marjanovic is useless. While I don't think Marjanovic will be lining up against Karl-Anthony Towns much, if at all this game, I do see him getting minutes as a way to shake things up versus a team that is capable of winning games against quality opponents. Don't look now, but his most recent string of games does nothing to help support a case of consistency.
