Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson will start Tuesday's game against the skidding Buffalo Sabres, head coach Marc Crawford confirmed. He heads into the game with a 15-25-4 record, 3.54 goals-against average and .902 save percentage in 43 starts and 46 appearances. Anderson has had trouble against the Sabres, too, posting a 1-1-0 record, 4.05 GAA and .914 save percentage in his two previous starts this season. He is a risky play in most seasonal fantasy formats at this point, although he could be a sneaky low-cost DFS option against the skidding Sabres.--Daniel Dobish

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Craig Anderson tied his career high with 53 saves and backstopped the team to a 3-1 victory over Florida on Friday. He was only beaten by Carter Verhaeghe in the middle of the third frame. Anderson's 53 saves are the most ever in a Sabres win and it's the third-highest save total overall in franchise history. At 41 years and 279 days, Anderson became the oldest goalie in NHL history to register 50-plus saves in a single game. Anderson might be turning 42 in a couple of months' time, but he is still performing well, boasting a 9-7-2 record for the campaign with a 2.70 goals-against average, a .920 save percentage and one shutout.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Craig Anderson will guard the crease in Monday's matchup against the Flyers. He will be looking to improve a 7-5-1 record, which Anderson has put together with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage. The 41-year-old has been in very impressive form throughout the campaign and even picked up a shutout last month against Los Angeles. Three of Anderson's wins have come in his past five appearances, and he should have a good chance to collect another victory Monday against a team that is ranked just 27th in goals per game this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Craig Anderson ended a lengthy shutout drought in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Kings, nullifying a team for the first time since 2019. He needed to be at his absolute best to do it as well, with L.A. firing 40 pucks toward him. The Kings are averaging 3.28 goals per game for the season, so it was a very impressive effort from Anderson, who became only the second netminder in NHL history to post a 40-save shutout at age 41 or older. He has proven that age is only a number, going 6-4-1 this season with a nice .921 save percentage and a 2.71 goals-against average. Anderson is currently sharing the goaltending duties in Buffalo with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, as Eric Comrie (lower body) continues to work his way back from injury.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Craig Anderson will hope to extend his winning streak to four games on Friday against Carolina. The 41-year-old veteran has been showing that age is just a number, going 3-0-0 this season with a 1.66 goals-against average and a .946 save percentage. The Sabres are finally looking like a real team following a lengthy rebuild, and both Anderson and Eric Comrie probably deserve more respect than they are currently getting from fantasy managers. The latter is off to a 4-3-0 start and should start against Tampa on Saturday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
