Tim Hardaway Jr. Shut Down For Season
6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (leg) will miss Thursday night's game against the Sacramento Kings along with the rest of the season. Coach Rick Carlisle confirmed Hardaway will be shut down to let his stress reaction in his leg heal. Hardaway missed about a month last season with the stress reaction and Dallas has nothing to play for this season. Hopefully for Hardaway there were no setbacks in his leg and this is merely a management move to keep the player away from unneeded stress. Without Hardaway, Dorian Finney-Smith, Justin Jackson and Trey Burke figure to be the top candidates for the starting lineup.
