Eduardo Rodriguez Fans Eight On Thursday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez worked five innings, allowing three runs on three hits, while striking out eight and walking two against the Detroit Tigers. It was a solid day all around for the 25-year-old but a three-run second put a damper on the outing. The Sox are hoping to stretch out the southpaw's outings moving forward but manager Alex Cora has noted Rodriguez's efficiency throughout the spring. In four starts, he has worked 13 innings, struck out 16 and allowed six runs. His draft stock has been rising throughout the spring if the lefty can carry his momentum into the season, the Red Sox lineup should present plenty of opportunities for Rodriguez to stack up victories early. The RotoBaller rankings have him as the 37th SP and he is currently carrying an ADP of 155 making him a solid mid-round option in mixed leagues.
