6 years agoColorado Avalanche left wing Mikko Rantanen scored a second-period goal during a 4-3 overtime loss to the Florida Panthers on Monday night. Rantanen has registered a point in four straight games. The Finnish winger has enjoyed another remarkable campaign on the Avs' top line. He has 26 goals, 54 assists, and 28 power-play points through 63 games. At just 22-years-old, Rantanen has established himself as one of the top playmaking forwards in the league. He will be a fantasy force for years to come. Derick Brassard scored a goal in his Avalanche debut after being acquired earlier in the day and Tyson Jost also found the back of the net. The Avalanche will be back in action on Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks.
