Tommy Fleetwood Quietly Posts Share of 28th Place
6 years agoTommy Fleetwood had a straightforward week at Riviera, posting a share of 28th place. The Englishman made par 50 times in his 72 holes but was undone by his putting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, losing 2.361 strokes for the tournament on the greens -- good for 67th place in the field. This week, the 28-year-old will quickly be back in action at the WGC Mexico Championship. Fleetwood has a superb record at Chapultepec, finishing in a share of 14th last year while concluding the inaugural event in 2017 as the runner-up. Fleetwood's course history is going to make him a popular choice, but the course seems to fit his eye.
