Sergei Bobrovsky Allows Three Goals In Road Loss
6 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 32 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 road loss against the Montreal Canadiens. Bobrovsky gave his team a chance to win all even, making some terrific saves, but Tomas Tatar notched the game-winning tally with just 6:52 to play in regulation and the Columbus offense was unable to respond. Despite the loss he is still a very impressive 5-2-0 with a 2.30 goals-against average and .922 save percentage with a shutout in seven starts since the All-Star break. The Blue Jackets travel to meet the Ottawa Senators on Friday night, and they host the San Jose Sharks on Saturday. Bobrovsky and Joonas Korpisalo are likely to split that home-and-home situation.
