Mike Conley Struggles With Shot Against Thunder
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley wasn't dealt at Thursday's trade deadline, a bit of a surprise after his name had surfaced in trade rumors for weeks. Conley will be a Grizzly for at least the rest of the season, but he'll need to shoot better than his 4-for-15 mark from Thursday's loss to the Thunder if he wants to have a bigger impact on the team moving forward. Conley is arguably the best player in Memphis and is averaging 20.3 points per game, a number that's likely to rise as the team grapples with how to get the ball in the bucket on a new-look Memphis team. Expect Conley to play better against the Pelicans on Saturday.
