Kyle Connor Scores Twice In Win
6 years agoWinnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor buried a pair of goals in his team's 4-3 shootout victory against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night. The second-year winger scored two goals within 34 seconds early in the third period and then deposited the shootout winner on a nice backhand move to give his team the full two points. After experiencing an uncharacteristic ten-game pointless drought back in December, Connor closed out the month of January with 12 points (eight goals, four assists). In addition, the talented scorer has now found the back of the net in six of his past ten games and has eight goals over that span. With 40 points (21 goals, 19 assists), 11 power-play points and 147 shots on goal in 50 games, Connor has already blossomed into a valuable player in nearly all fantasy formats.
