FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/28/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

I hope everyone had an excellent weekend. The league has five games on the schedule to get you going, and as always, we have some injuries to monitor as Frank Ntilikina, Kemba Walker, Tony Parker, Joe Harris, Treveon Graham, Omri Casspi, JaMychal Green, and Kyle Anderson are some names to watch heading into Monday night.

In this article, I'll be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/28/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young - PG, @ LAC ($7,200)

Though there is an abundance of solid options at the point guard position on Monday, Young has the potential to exceed his value in a game that will likely be the highest-scoring contest of the night. The rookie had one of the best performances of his young career against the Clippers back in November, logging 27 minutes and dumping 25 points on 22 shot attempts. We would all love to get Kyrie in our lineup, but if you need to save some dough while looking to maximize value, Young may be your guy.

Shabazz Napier - PG, @ BOS ($4,900)

With the injury to Spencer Dinwiddie, who will miss up to six weeks while recovering from ligament damage in his thumb, Napier's number will be called to help fill the void at the one. He looked a little shoddy against New York a few nights ago, going 3-for-13 from the field, but was able to help salvage what would have been a disastrous fantasy performance by sinking 11 of his 12 shots from the charity stripe. He should continue to get minutes, especially if Brooklyn continues to get hammered with injuries.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - SF, vs. ATL ($7,800)

After hitting at least 38 fantasy points in his previous two outings, Harris cooled off against the Kings on Sunday by finishing up with only 29.7. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has played better this season, at least statistically, in the second of back-to-back contests, averaging 24.3 points on 58 percent shooting from the field, an encouraging sign that he is due to bounce back. He is reasonably priced and is just too good to pass up on Monday night considering the matchup.

Theo Pinson - SF, @ BOS ($4,100)

Pinson played 25 minutes against the Knicks on Friday and finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. While that level of production will be hard to duplicate against the defensively-sound Celtics, his bargain price can help offset some of the cost needed to add guys like Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry to your roster, especially if Joe Harris and Treveon Graham aren't able to suit up in this one. If for some reason he flubs, FanDuel will drop your lowest-score anyway which will help alleviate some of the risk associated with his presence in your lineup. Keep an eye on Harris and Graham because if one, or both, are out, check out Pinson.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Mitchell Robinson - C, @ CHA ($5,000)

Robinson has been coming in off the bench and getting a good portion of the minutes in the middle as of late. As Enes Kanter's days as a Knick look to be coming to an end, the 20-year-old should get an increase in usage moving forward. Though he has a lot of work to do offensively, he will get his points with his solid defensive skills as he is averaging 2.5 blocks and a steal over the past 10 games. He obviously isn't the best center on the slate, but he does have a higher ceiling, especially with so many injuries on the roster.
