Matt Duchene Buries 20th Goal On Wednesday
6 years agoOttawa Senators center Matt Duchene led the way in his team's 5-2 defeat of the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night, contributing two goals and an assist in the victory. Duchene's second tally of the night was his 20th goal of the season and the second-year Senator now has now amassed 45 points in his first 38 games of the current campaign. While the 28-year-old is on pace to record his first career point-per-game season, he's also established himself as a legitimate first-line center and has lined himself up for a big pay day this summer in free agency. Selected with the 166th average pick in Yahoo! fantasy drafts prior to the season, Duchene has become one of the best bargains of the 2018-2019 season and he easily deserves to be owned in far more than just 68% of leagues.
