Anders Lee Chips in Two Points in Victory over Blues
6 years agoNew York Islanders forward Anders Lee picked up a goal and an assist on Saturday night, giving him 15 goals and 15 assists on the season. Lee set career highs in points (62) and power-play points (22) last season, and with 30 points and 11 power-play points in 40 games this season he is on pace to match those marks. His goal production has taken a bit of a drop from the 40 goals he scored last season, but he is still on pace to reach 30 goals for the third straight season. With Lee seemingly rounding out his game by racking up more assists, he has maintained his value despite seeing his 19.2 shooting percentage from last year drop to a more reasonable 14 percent this season. That should lead to more sustained success for Lee and make him a useful option in most leagues.
