Ian Poulter Looks To Continue Career Renaissance
6 years agoDeath, taxes, and Ian Poulter playing well in a Ryder Cup year. Those are some of the few certainties in life. Poulter did it again in 2018, logging the first PGA Tour stroke-play win of his career at the Houston Open. The victory propelled the Englishman to a tremendous season and a spot on the European Ryder Cup team. Poulter will try to continue his career renaissance in 2019 and gets his season underway at this week's Sentry Tournament of Champions. It will be a challenge for him to compete at a Kapalua layout that demands low scoring. Poulter ranked just 84th in birdie or better percentage on the PGA Tour in 2018. He's nothing more than a DFS tournament flyer this week.
