Tonight offers an eight game slate that includes multiple games that should be excellent for DFS. With multiple big-name players at the top to choose from, ownership on the studs should remain reasonable. Due to that, there will be plenty of different ways to attack this slate.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/29/18.You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Tomas Satoransky - PG, vs CHA ($3,800)
Satoransky should continue to see huge minutes tonight as John Wall remains out due to injury. At $3,800, Satoransky is a near lock in all formats as he should see 35+ minutes and has proven to be effective when given big minutes, as seen last night. Satoransky could go somewhat overlooked tonight as game log research reveals some ugly fantasy numbers for him. Regardless, a 10x value game for Satoransky tonight would not surprise me at all.
DeMar DeRozan - SG, at LAC ($8,800)
James Harden sits well above all other SG's tonight and of course, if you have the salary to spend it on Harden, go for it. However, if you need a little bit of savings, DeRozan looks to be in an excellent spot in a paced-up matchup against the Clippers. DeRozan has played 38 minutes each of the last three games and should see at least 35 tonight in what is expected to be one of the higher scoring games of the night. DeRozan has been quite inconsistent this season so he is more of a multi-entry tournament play. DeRozan has a near 70 FanDuel point ceiling.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Al-Farouq Aminu - PF, vs GSW ($5,200)
Aminu has been seeing consistent big minutes lately and has been able to produce some decent FanDuel point games. Aminu should see 33+ minutes tonight in what is expected to be a fairly close and high scoring game. If Aminu can find his shot early in the game, a ceiling game of 40 FanDuel points is reasonable. Aminu does come with some risk as his floor is only about 15 points but in a good matchup like tonight, having Aminu in a lineup or two could prove to be profitable.
Danilo Gallinari - SF, vs SAS ($7,100)
Gallinari is the second highest priced SF on tonights slate, $3,600 below Kevin Durant. Due to that, there's a good chance that the vast majority of lineups will include Kevin Durant and a lower priced SF. Going with Gallinari and another mid-tier SF will likely be a fairly unique lineup construction. Gallinari should play about 33 minutes and has proven that 45 FanDuel point games are quite possible. In addition, pairing Gallinari with DeRozan to create a mini game-stack is very interesting.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Nikola Jokic - C, at PHX ($9,700)
Jokic is the highest priced center tonight and has a chance of being the highest owned tournament and cash play tonight, for good reason. Jokic's FanDuel price tag was at $11,100 just 11 days ago and a string of three poor games has dropped it to $9,700. Jokic has a near 80 point ceiling and at only $9,700 he is in play in tournaments and in cash formats. In addition, Jokic is going up against the Suns who rank nearly last in the NBA in guarding centers. As long as this game stays relatively close, a ceiling game for Jokic is very possible.
