6 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Wendell Carter Jr. had a stellar game versus the Washington Wizards Friday night. Carter Jr. scored 17 points going eight for ten from the floor. Also in the contest, Carter Jr. had 13 boards with three blocks. Hopefully, Friday's game is a sign of things to come for Carter Jr. who has averaged just 8.7 points and 6.6 rebounds for the month of December. The Toronto Raptors are next up for Carter Jr. and the Bulls on Sunday. The Raptors have the tenth best defensive rating in the league so Carter Jr. may regress to similar stats that he had for the month of December.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller

4 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) has been listed as questionable for Monday's game against Charlotte. He has been considered questionable for several games recently before getting ruled out ahead of tip-off. However, it's a sign that Carter Jr. is nearing a return. The 25-year-old has sat out 11 straight games. Carter Jr.'s eventual return will be a bad blow for Goga Bitadze, who's had a good spell during his absence as a starter. Bitadze logged only a handful of minutes when Carter Jr. was healthy. Moritz Wagner will lose some playing time as well, but his spot in the rotation is secure.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

4 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) won't play in Saturday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. He was questionable early on Saturday, so there was a chance he would return. However, the 25-year-old will now miss his eleventh-straight game and his twelfth of the 2024-25 campaign. With Carter remaining on the shelf, Goga Bitadze should continue to take his spot in the rotation. Bitadze has played well in his 10 starts, averaging 9.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks, keeping him relevant in all fantasy setups.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

4 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons. The 25-year-old has been sidelined since Nov. 3 due to left foot plantar fasciitis. Fantasy managers will hope he can take the floor soon, but will want to see some improvement. He has averaged 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds across six games this season but has struggled with his shooting, converting just 44.7 percent of his attempts, which is below his typical efficiency. If Carter is unable to suit up on Saturday, Goga Bitadze is expected to start in his place.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller

4 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) will not suit up against the Lakers on Thursday. This marks his 10th consecutive absence as he deals with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The Magic haven't provided a timetable on when he will return. The 25-year-old has been missed as he has consistently contributed when on the floor, averaging 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds this season. With Carter still out, Moritz WagnerJonathan Isaac, and Goga Bitadze will continue to see an uptick in minutes.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
