Mike Williams Posts Career Game In KC
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams got the chances, and he stepped up. After No. 1 wide receiver Keenan Allen left with a hip injury, the team turned their attention to Williams, and he carried them. Williams finished the night with seven catches on nine targets for 76 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown and caught the winning two-point conversion. Williams was an absolute monster in the red zone, causing much outrage amongst Chiefs defenders as they continuously looked for flags for push-offs. Instead, Williams remained untouched by penalties and looked like he was worth every bit of the first-round pick that was spent on him last year. Williams has talent coming out of his ears, and if LA’s offense continues to deal with so many injuries, he’ll get to keep showcasing it.
