6 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers avoided salary arbitration with starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson on Wednesday by agreeing to a one-year, $3.7 million deal, according to sources. Nelson didn't pitch at all in 2018 due to injury, but he was 12-6 with a nice 3.49 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and career-high 10.2 K/9 for Milwaukee in 2017, and he should have a rotation spot if he's healthy in 2019. Nelson could post great value for fantasy owners as somewhat of a forgotten arm late in drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
