FAAB Bidding - Week 15 Waiver Wire Targets

justin jackson fantasy football rankings NFL DFS lineup picks

In fantasy football leagues that use FAAB (free agent acquisition budget), it can be hard to know how much money to spend on key players at QB, RB, WR, or TE. Kev Mahserejian gives fantasy owners his recommendations on how to spend FAAB for Week 15.

As an addendum to our famous waiver wire pickups list, and our weekly waiver wire columns by position, in this column we also present suggested waiver wire bidding percentages for fantasy football owners in leagues using a Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).

As a caveat, these prices do not by any means indicate how much these free agent players will go for. Each league values players differently and will continue to do so. These auction values are here to provide a baseline to understand roughly how much you should be targeting to spend on a particular player.

Playoff time is here and that FAAB is as close to useless as possible. Every week is a must win (unless you have a bye) which means that you should have no qualms spending all of your money if you must. With that being said, below are our FAAB auction bidding recommendations (with a twist) for Week 15. Good luck, and happy bidding!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Quarterbacks

The designation of "Outbid Opponents" means that you should evaluate how much FAAB your opponents have left and try to outbid them on any particular player(s) while trying to maximize what you have left.

Josh Allen (QB, BUF) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
15% owned

Josh Allen's fantasy stats are what you wish Lamar Jackson had been putting up these past few weeks. Allen is gigantic and hard to bring down while on the run. He is athletic as any quarterback in the league and will continue to provide a high floor with his legs. The deep shots are a bonus. If Allen can connect on a couple of his rockets downfield, he could win your playoff matchup. Somehow he's become a very solid play these next two weeks as he faces the Lions and Patriots, both of whom are exposable on defense. Fire up Allen if you need him.

Dak Prescott (QB, DAL) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
57% owned

Amari Cooper made Dak Prescott relevant again (in real life and fantasy). It seems that Cooper's magnificent skill-set was not properly utilized in Oakland. Prescott is doing something unheard of by actually targeting him and letting him make plays in open space. A revelation of sorts. As long as that offense is intact, Prescott will hold some value and buoy his fantasy production up with his legs. Start him if you need a QB these next two weeks as he gets to face the Colts and Buccaneers indoors.

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Running Backs

Damien Williams (RB, KC ) - FAAB Bid: All (If Ware's out)
10% owned

This is entirely dependent on the news we receive regarding Spencer Ware's hamstring/shoulder on Tuesday. If he's out of practice and considered questionable, drop everything for Williams. The starting running back in the KC offense is worth all your FAAB. If Williams is announced as a starter, he's an instant RB2/Flex option and should be plugged into lineups.

Kenneth Dixon (RB, BAL) - FAAB Bid: Almost All
8% owned

Coachspeak or not, Dixon is said to have a more prominent role in the offense going forward. The coaching staff in Baltimore loves RB committee's and Dixon's style compliments Gus Edwards' very well. Dixon will probably see more passing down work and provide some PPR value. Hopefully, his efficiency holds up with the increase in touches and he becomes a solid flex. He has a great matchup against Tampa Bay this weekend and could be flexed in deeper leagues.

Elijah McGuire (RB, NYJ) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
7% owned

Isaiah Crowell suffered another injury on Sunday and McGuire stepped in and took over as the lead back. If Crowell were to miss next week's game, McGuire would be an okay flex option due to volume. If all of your running backs are out, McGuire should be one of your priorities, if not feel free to ignore him. He has a tough schedule these next two weeks and is only viable if he catches passes or scores.

Justin Jackson (RB, LAC) - FAAB Bid: All (If Gordon and Ekeler are out)
54% owned

This depends on Melvin Gordon's status for next week. Gordon's been out for a few weeks with an MCL sprain and could potentially miss this week against Kansas City. Austin Ekeler is also dealing with an injury and could miss the game as well. Jackson becomes an instant starter on your team if this is the case.

Rex Burkhead (RB, NE) - FAAB Bid: Not Much
24% owned

He's useless for now, but if Michel or White get hurt this next week he could be a solid flex for Week 16. Stash him as a handcuff for now if you have bench space.

Rashaad Penny (RB, SEA) - FAAB Bid: Couple Bucks
24% owned

Similar situation to Burkhead, grab as a handcuff to Carson just in case. Penny runs well but just doesn't get enough touches to be relevant as the RB2.

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Wide Receivers

Daesean Hamilton / Tim Patrick (WR, DEN) - FAAB Bid: Majority of Budget
7% and 0% owned

Hamilton replaced Emmanuel Sanders as the Keenum's go-to slot receiver and produced fairly well. With nine targets, you should hope for Hamilton to keep up this sort of share going forward. Patrick actually was targeted more and has been involved in the offense longer. This is a weird situation where we can not tell which one is more trusted/valuable and by the time we do, the season will be over. Unfortunate, but take a chance with either for a chunk of your budget.

Curtis Samuel (WR, CAR) - FAAB Bid: Majority of Budget
31% owned

Curtis Samuel is used all over the field, and that continues to benefit his fantasy stock. Typically, he isn't the most targeted WR on the field, but his ability to make a play with the ball in his hands makes him plenty viable. The Panthers limited Devin Funchess's snaps as he returned from injury which opened up more time for Samuel. Five double-digit scoring games over the past six weeks do not go unnoticed, grab him up if you can.

Dante Pettis (WR, SF) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
46% owned

Pettis has been a monster these past three games. Mullens appears to have a great connection with him, and now that he's healthy there is no stopping him. Pettis caught a 75-yard bomb against the Seahawks two week back and will look to wreak havoc once again this week. Add him as a potential high-upside WR these last few weeks.

Robert Foster (WR, BUF) - FAAB Bid: Couple Bucks
1% owned

Foster has taken over the slot role in Buffalo and has become Josh Allen's most trusted target. He is an Alabama product and has burst onto the scene out of nowhere. Foster has three double-digit games over the past four weeks and looks to grab some more deep shots from ol' Rocket Arm Allen these next two weeks in some profitable matchups.

John Ross (WR, CIN) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
9% owned

A.J. Green is out for the season, and Ross has been the benefactor with him out. Ross has seen around 90 percent of snaps this year with Green out, and unless he's in the doghouse with Coach Lewis again, he should continue to do so. The dud against the Broncos should be ignored given the talent of the Broncos' defense. Driskel prefers Boyd as a target, but Ross should continue to get looks his way these next few weeks. He's a boom-or-bust flex in all leagues who should be owned.

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Tight Ends

Ian Thomas (TE, CAR) - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
8% owned

Thomas has a tough matchup against New Orleans this week but still should be owned. He has completely taken over Greg Olsen's role and should continue to see targets this year. Thomas isn't quite as talented as Olsen but should see red zone looks and produce better than any other waiver wire TE.

CJ Uzomah (TE, CIN) - FAAB Bid: Couple Bucks
26% owned

QB Jeff Driskel loves his tight end. Uzomah's seen a spike in usage these past few weeks with Dalton out and that should continue going forward. Uzomah's more of a safety blanket than a downfield target so don't expect much but in PPR he will be solid. Don't give up too much unless you have to.

FAAB Waiver Wire Bids - Defense/Special Teams

Buffalo Bills D/ST - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
51% owned

The Detroit Lions' offense has severely regressed since they traded away Golden Tate, and lost Marvin Jones/Kerryon Johnson to injury. They now have to play against the Bills in Buffalo which is surprisingly a daunting task. Fire this D/ST up with confidence.

Washington Redskins D/ST - FAAB Bid: Outbid Opponents
33% owned
