Mitch Trubisky Must Improve Performance
6 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed only 16 of 30 passes for 110 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in the Bears 15-6 win over the Rams. Trubisky has missed the last two games with a slightly separated shoulder and the rust certainly showed. He consistently was inconsistent in the passing game and a few balls sailed on him that led to interceptions. Per usual, however, Trubisky was able to use his legs to pick up 23 rushing yards and connected in the red zone for a touchdown pass to offensive lineman Bradley Sowell of all players. The Bears defense is elite but the offense, and the fantasy value of its weapons, is tethered to the success of Trubisky moving forward. Trubisky will have a more forgiving matchup next week against the Packers.
