Seth Jones Buries Overtime Winner On Thursday
6 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones posted a pair of goals (including the overtime winner) to give his team a 4-3 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night. After missing almost the entire first month of the season due to a knee injury, the Texas native is starting to enter into a groove offensively with points in each of his previous five games (three goals, four assists). Jones broke through offensively last season with a career-high of 57 points and, as a result, has emerged as a top-ten defenseman in most fantasy formats. With 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) in 21 games so far, Jones could very well eclipse last year's totals in fewer games in 2018-2019. Get him back into lineups ahead of the Blue Jackets' next tilt with the Washington Capitals on Saturday.
