6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie running back Justin Jackson may have snatched a couple spot starts away from Austin Ekeler on Sunday night. While Ekeler was given the start against Pittsburgh, he proved ineffective and was relieved by Jackson. Jackson showed up in the second half, and he ended up being instrumental in the Chargers comeback by piecing out huge chunks of yards en route to a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave LA the lead for the first time in the game. Jackson looked way better than Ekeler, and with Melvin Gordon expected to be out a few more weeks due to his knee injury, Jackson may have just played his way into a spot start or two.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
