Eric Gordon Scores 15 Points Off The Bench
6 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon had another good scoring night for his team in their win over the Chicago Bulls. He scored 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting to go along with three rebounds, three three-pointers, and one assist. While the scoring numbers were decent, Gordon continues to show just how one-dimensional he is as a fantasy asset. Even when his shot is falling, he hardly contributes outside of points and three-pointers. While his historically bad shooting has finally risen to acceptable levels, his lack of residual stats makes him a modest contributor at best. But for owners in need of points and three-pointers, you could do worse than Gordon. Gordon looks to be a solid DFS play on Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they give up the fifth most three-pointers in the NBA this season. So Gordon could have a strong night from beyond the arc.
