Blake Griffin Scores 26 Points In Win
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin had a solid game against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night. He scored 26 points, on 9-for-22 shooting, and hit 6-of-6 free-throws. Griffin also chipped in with six rebounds, five assists, and two three-pointers. While Griffin's contributions in points, assists, and rebounds have been good. He's struggling big time getting defensive stats. This is the sixth straight game Griffin has failed to record a steal or block and his value in 9-category leagues has started to take a hit because of it. Hopefully, this is just a cold streak in that area for Griffin. However even with his defensive struggles its hard to ignore the production he's given owners. Especially his three-point shooting, which is at a career-high 2.2-per-game. Griffin may in tough next game though, he takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder who are the seventh best at defending the power forward position this season giving up just 19.2 points-per-game.
