Dede Westbrook Most Likely To Struggle With QB Change
Dede Westbrook is coming off one of his best weeks of the 2018 NFL season but has a different quarterback delivering his passes this week, as Cody Kessler will be at the helm in Jacksonville. The Oklahoma product seems to be a tough play this week, as he typically generates points from big plays, not volume. Unfortunately for Westbrook, Kessler is bound to check down quite a bit this week, which hurts Westbrook's blueprint for success. While Westbrook is the only receiver that should be considered in Jacksonville at this point, his downside is quite nominal and he should be on benches in shallower leagues.

Dede Westbrook Working Out With Vikings
Dede Westbrook is working out for the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday. The 28-year-old played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars before landing with the Vikings last year, where he totaled 68 receiving yards on 10 catches. He also returned 22 punts for 183 yards, and it seems that would be his primary role if Minnesota were to bring him back. Ian Rapoport reported that a few other teams are also interested in Westbrook and that he is expected to sign somewhere in the coming days. His last notable year as a receiver came in 2019 when he cleared 100 targets (101) with 66 catches for 660 yards and three scores as a Jaguar. He would only have fantasy value if he lands somewhere as at least the third receiving option, which would not be the case in Minnesota behind wide receivers Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and K.J. Osborn.

Dede Westbrook Inactive Sunday Night
Dede Westbrook (ankle) is officially inactive on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys after coming into the Week 8 contest with a questionable tag. Westbrook has been far from the fantasy radar this season, as he has only seven receptions on nine targets for 59 yards in six games played for Minnesota. Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn will remain the team's top three pass-catchers in the Sunday night matchup with Dallas. Rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Dan Chisena will battle for snaps as the No. 4 wideout with Westbrook out of action this week.
