6 years agoWinnipeg Jets left wing Nikolaj Ehlers produced two assists during a 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night. Ehlers has had a miserable start to the season with 12 points through 23 games. The Danish winger has posted back-to-back campaigns with at least 60 points, but he is only on pace for 42 points in 2018-19. Thankfully, Ehlers has moved up to the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler. This promotion has given him a resemblance of life with one goal and three assists over his past five games. It is still hard to warrant keeping Ehlers in shallow formats, but managers in deep leagues should not give up.
