Sergei Bobrovsky Earns Win Despite Five Goals Against
6 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky allowed five goals on 32 shots, but his offense bailed him out in a 7-5 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Bobrovsky has been stellar lately, so this was an unexpected performance. He is now 6-1-0 in his past seven starts. The Russian netminder's 9-7-0 record and 2.74 goals-against average are underwhelming. With that in mind, he is back to playing at an elite level. Consider this game an outlier and expect him to bounce back against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday.
