Dallas Stars defenseman Matt Dumba will re-enter the lineup for Monday's matchup against Utah. The veteran has sat out two games as a healthy scratch. Dumba has posted nearly 250 career points, but his fantasy stock is at an all-time low. In 15 outings this season, he's managed just one assist with 14 shots, 14 blocks, and 27 hits. Dumba will join Thomas Harley on the second defensive pairing, with Alexander Petrovic exiting the lineup.

Dallas Stars defenseman Matt Dumba (lower body) was placed on the injured reserve earlier on Saturday. In a corresponding move, the Stars promoted Matej Blumel from the AHL Texas Stars. Dumba suffered this injury this injury last week and was initially deemed to be "week-to-week." Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status. As a result, Brendan Smith will likely remain in the starting lineup as the replacement option for the time being. In addition, 23-year-old Thomas Harley has begun to cover the top pair with Miro Heiskanen in Dumba's absence. In his past three games, Harley has logged over two minutes of power-play time in each game with one total assist and could be worth a look as a streaming option for the time being.

Dallas Stars defenseman Matt Dumba (lower body) is considered week-to-week. He was injured in the second game of the season and will be sidelined for a second consecutive contest on Tuesday versus San Jose. Unfortunately for the veteran, his absence won't be limited to only a few games, as Stars head coach Peter DeBoer expects Dumba to be out for the "foreseeable future." Brendan Smith replaced Dumba in the lineup on Sunday against Seattle, and the team also called up Alex Petrovic from the minors as an extra defensive option.

Dallas Stars defenseman Matt Dumba (lower body) will not play in Sunday's matchup against Seattle and is considered day-to-day. He will be evaluated further on Monday after Dumba suffered a lower-body injury versus the Islanders on Saturday. Dumba has partnered Miro Heiskanen on the top defensive pairing in his first games with the Stars. Brendan Smith is set to replace Dumba in the lineup on Sunday, and a reconfiguration of the defensive pairs is expected. Esa Lindell and Thomas Harley saw extra usage next to Heiskanen on Saturday and will be asked to step up again versus the Kraken.
