Tevin Coleman Rescues Day With Receiving Touchdown
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman had a tough day against the New Orleans Saints defense in the Thanksgiving game. Coleman managed just six rushing yards on eight carries with a longest rush of four yards. The Falcons tried over and over again to get the run game functioning in the first half. However, Coleman could never really get any space as he was constantly suffocated by the Saints defensive line. Coleman did managed to salvage his day with a garbage time receiving touchdown. However, even then he managed just 17 yards on three receptions, to give him a 10 point day in PPR formats. It is another disappointing performance from Coleman in a year in which he has been extremely hard to trust, despite being the number one running back in the Falcons backfield for a large portion of the year.
