6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson recorded 35 yards on 12 carries in Thursday's loss to the Cowboys. He fell victim to the same set of circumstances that has hampered his fantasy value at various points throughout the season: the Redskins could not contain the opposing offense effectively enough to lean heavily on the running game. Peterson also saw backup running back Kapri Bibbs scavenge a short touchdown late in the game, further weakening his Week 12 performance. The Redskins have now dropped two consecutive games, so look for them to use their extra preparation time before Week 13 to reinforce what has worked for them all year: defense and the ground game led by Peterson.--Chris O'Reilly
