Jonathan Toews Posts Two Points In Win
6 years agoChicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews potted a goal and added an assist in his team's 3-1 defeat of the Minnesota Wild on Sunday. In doing so, the Hawks' captain extended his personal point streak to four games (two goals, three assists). After failing to eclipse the 60-point mark in each of his past three seasons (including 52 points in 2017-2018), Toews is off to a nice start to the current campaign. The 30-year-old has been displaying his offensive touch once again with 18 points (ten goals, eight assists) to go along with four power-play points and 57 shots on goal in the season's first 21 games. Toews has been reunited with Patrick Kane under new head coach Jeremy Colliton and will look to extend his point streak to five games when the Hawks face the Capitals on Wednesday.
