Golden Tate Leads Lethargic Eagles Receivers
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Golden Tate caught five balls for 48 yards in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints. He also lost eight yards on a carry. Tate led the Eagles with eight targets but the team got nothing going on offense. His longest grab went for only 15 yards. Tate now has just 67 yards in two games since joining the Eagles and it’s fair to wonder if his fantasy value is impaired on his new team. With a well-defined role in Detroit, Tate has been ineffective in Philly’s offensive scheme. His usage on Sunday was better than it was in his team debut and he’ll merit WR2 consideration in Week 12 against the New York Giants.
