Josh Adams Lone Bright Spot For Eagles
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Josh Adams rushed seven times for 53 yards and a touchdown, adding three catches for 19 yards in Week 11 against the New Orleans Saints. Adams ripped a 28-yard touchdown scamper in the second quarter for the Eagles only score of the day. Arguably, Adams has officially usurped Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood in the Eagles backfield, garnering twice the touches than the latter two combined (10 to five). If he maintains his workload, Adams should return flex or RB3 value in a more even contest. He’s the Philly back to target in Week 12 against the New York Giants.
