6 years agoDetroit Lions running back LeGarrette Blount gained just one yard on seven attempts in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Panthers. Not only did Kerryon Johnson highlight the running game for Detroit, but Blount couldn't even make anything happen when Johnson left the game with a knee injury. However, the thought that Detroit plays on Thursday in the upcoming week means that there is a chance the rookie Johnson misses the game, meaning Blount could see increased opportunities. However, the Lions host the Bears which would be anything but a favorable matchup for a runner of Blount's bruising type. You would have to be very desperate to see a situation where the 31-year-old is usable in fantasy.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
