Donovan Mitchell Drains Season-High Five Three-Pointers
Donovan Mitchell poured in 28 points on 10 of 21 shooting from the field and five of 12 from beyond the arc in Saturday night's win over the Celtics. The five triples are a season-high, and the game marked the eighth time that the second-year pro has made at least that many trifectas in his young career. He also contributed three rebounds, six assists, one block as well as three steals in 36 minutes. The 6-foot-3 combo guard has struggled mightily with his shot since the calendar turned to November as he is shooting only 37.9 percent from the field and 22.4 percent from beyond the arc over his seven appearances. The game against the Celtics marked just the second time this month that the former Louisville star has made at least 45 percent of his shots. Mitchell will look to extend his double-figure scoring streak to 15 against the Pacers on Monday.

Donovan Mitchell Logs Full Practice On Thursday
Donovan Mitchell (ankle) practiced fully on Thursday, indicating that he will be 100 percent ready when the team begins its playoff campaign on Sunday. Mitchell has proven himself as a highly productive playoff performer and will be expected to make a deep run with his team after the Cavaliers dominated the regular season. For his postseason career, Mitchell has averaged 28.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 37.6 minutes.

Donovan Mitchell Will Be "Full-On" During Practice This Week
Donovan Mitchell (ankle) missed the last four games of the season due to an ankle injury, but he's trending in the right direction before the NBA Playoffs start. Head coach Kenny Atkinson said before their final game that Mitchell would be "full-on" during practice leading up to Game 1, which is waiting for the play-in games to be scheduled. The 28-year-old was voted to his sixth straight All-Star Game this season and averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. The Cavaliers' big three of Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley will need to be fully healthy to make a playoff run, and it seems that they're moving closer to that.

Donovan Mitchell Misses Second Straight Game Thursday
Donovan Mitchell (ankle) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers, missing a second consecutive game. Cleveland's star man is nursing an ankle sprain, and the team has no reason to hurry his return since they have already clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference for the playoffs. Darius Garland (toe) will also take the night off, opening the door for Ty Jerome and Sam Merrill to lead the backcourt. Jerome will enter Thursday's contest with good momentum, having notched 38 points across two games since returning from a knee injury.

Donovan Mitchell Ruled Out Versus Chicago
Donovan Mitchell (ankle) won't play on Tuesday against the Bulls. The Cavs are looking to lock up the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, the team will try to do it without their top scorer, who sprained his ankle in Sunday's loss to the Sacramento Kings. Of course, Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley should get more involved on the offensive end. However, there's room for increased fantasy production from Ty Jerome and De'Andre Hunter, with the duo combining for 31 points on Sunday.
