Pheonix Copley Making Third Consecutive Start
6 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Pheonix Copley will be in net on Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche. Copley has taken the reigns as Braden Holtby continues to deal with an upper-body injury. Copley has a 3-2-1 record this season to go along with a 2.76 goals-against average and .905 save percentage. He gave up six goals on October 11 during his first appearance of the season. Since then, he has posted a save percentage over .900 in all five of his starts. The Avalanche are one of the highest scoring teams in the league, which makes Copley a risky play for Friday, but he is becoming a more reliable streaming option.
