We have a nine-game slate to look at tonight and we are starting to get a few games into the season, so we should be able to start looking at some more stats soon. Personally, I like Corsi For, which is an advanced shot metric shot which can help identify offensive opportunity.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

DFS Forwards to Consider
Evgeni Malkin - C, PIT vs TB (FD - $8,300, DK - $6,700)
A couple of things to note here, first off, Malkin is way too cheap on DraftKings tonight and he should be a core play tonight. Second, with the news that Sidney Crosby is dealing with an injury and could be out, we could see a line change for Malkin. He would be the one to be moved up to the first forward line meaning just a slight uptick in minutes and overall usage. This game has an over-under set at six, so we should be seeing plenty of offense in this game.
Mike Hoffman - W, FLA @ CLS (FD - $5,700, DK - 6,400)
Hoffman has a 13-game point streak going right now and FanDuel decided not to price him up at all. So yeah, this should be a lock in all formats tonight on FanDuel specifically. He is up on the first forward line and the second power-play, which puts him in a spot to extend his point streak yet again. Hoffman and the Panthers are up against the Blue Jackets who are allowing 47 shot attempts per game this season, giving him plenty of chances to rack up fantasy points.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Brent Burns - D, SJ vs TOR (FD - $7,100, DK - 6,600)
We've seen Burns' price dip below $7K on DraftKings for a few games now and I'm not entirely sure while. He may not be as explosive as we've seen in years past, but the consistency is always there and with him being on the first power-play he has plenty of upside. He is taking over three shots per game and blocking one shot per game which are all great, just need to see a bit more in the real point column.
Nick Leddy - D, NYI vs NYR (FD - $3,800, DK - $3,700)
Love the savings Leddy brings tonight and not to mention the fact he is up on the first power-play unit. He will be facing off against the Rangers in a game where the over-under is set at six and based on how these rivarly games go, we should be in for a wild one. Really needs to be used in a stack to reach full value, since he doesn't bring a ton from other stat categories.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Craig Anderson - G, OTT vs DET (FD - $7,800, DK - $7,500)
Love the price on Anderson tonight and should be more of a tournament option compared to cash games. He is only -110 at home tonight, simply for the fact, the Senators aren't the best the team this season but he has upside. The upside comes from the fact he has 30 saves or more in three of his last four games and is now up against a Red Wings team, who aren't all that dangerous. He will likely give up a few goals, but the win and plenty of saves are certainly viable tonight.
