P.J. Tucker Shoots Well From Deep Against Denver
6 years agoHouston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker scored 12 points on 4-for-8 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Denver Nuggets, with seven of those shot attempts coming from three-point range. He also grabbed six rebounds and added two assists, a steal, and a block. In three games since Carmelo Anthony last played for Houston, Tucker is averaging nine points and six boards in nearly 40 minutes per night and is shooting 56.3 percent from three on three attempts per game. Thursday's meeting with the Warriors presents a tough test for the veteran, but he should continue to be used as a catch-and-shoot option for Houston, giving him a decent fantasy floor.
