Alex Smith Throws One Touchdown In Week 10
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith completed 19 of 27 passes for 178 yards and a touchdown against the Buccaneers on Sunday. If any NFL offense was going to fail to take advantage of Tampa Bay's poor pass defense, it figured to be the Redskins. Sunday marked the first time since Week 2 that a team recorded fewer than two passing touchdowns against the Bucs, and the first time all season that an opposing quarterback totaled fewer than 200 yards through the air. The problem for any fantasy owner hoping for a breakout from the Redskins passing game is that the team has been winning, so they're not going to change their philosophy. As a result, Smith's value will not trend up anytime soon.
