We have an eight-game slate to look at tonight and we are starting to get a few games into the season, so we should be able to start looking at some more stats soon. Personally, I like Corsi For, which is an advanced shot metric shot which can help identify offensive opportunity.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually, 5.5 goals are average, so targets game at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.

DFS Forwards to Consider
Sean Monahan - C, CGY @ LA (FD - $7,700, DK - $6,000)
Monahan is way too cheap on DraftKings tonight and you should be looking to have him in multiple lineups tonight. He comes in with points in six of his last seven games, along with 25 shots in that span. He is seeing the first forward line and the first power-play time, which leads to him having a Coris For sitting at 15.73, which is the second highest of any center on the slate tonight. Good for all formats, so load him up.
Yanni Gourde - W, TB vs OTT (FD - $5,900, DK - $6,400)
Gourde has five points in his last four games and comes in with one of the best matchups on the slate. The Lightning are at home against the Senators, who are giving up nearly 42 shots per game, since their defense is just so bad. Love this spot overall and you can look to Gourde for both cash games and GPPs tonight. He is on the second forward line and the second power-play, which should give him some nice multi-point upside tonight.
David Pastrnak - W, BOS vs TOR (FD - $8,300, DK - $7,200)
Pastrnak and the Bruins are coming off a very bad loss at home to the Canucks, but are now up against the Maple Leafs who are on the second night of a back to back. Pastrnak only had two shots in his most recent game, which is very unlike him considering all of the ice time he sees. They need a bounce-back win, he needs a bounce-back game and it's going to happen here.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Dougie Hamilton - D, CAR vs DET (FD - $5,500, DK - $5,500)
Love the price on Hamilton tonight and the matchup is one of the best on the entire slate. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Hurricanes love to take a ton of shots, especially when they are at home, as they are tonight. Hamilton comes in tied for sixth overall in the league for shot attempts and with him seeing time on the second power-play, he will have even more chances to fire the puck at the net.
Shea Theodore - D, VGK @ MON (FD - $4,600, DK - $4,800)
Theodore should make a popular option tonight in cash games since he is a bit too cheap across the industry and seeing time on the first power-play unit. Anytime you can get a combination like that, you want to jump on it and have heavy exposure to him since they generally won't have to do much to reach value. Not to mention, he has a five-game point streak in the works and still hasn't been priced up.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Matt Murray - G, PIT vs ARI (FD - $8,000, DK - $7,600)
Murray and the Penguins come in as -210 home favorites, which should make him one of the top options for cash games tonight. He has certainly been a bit up and down this season but this a game he should be winning at home and somewhat "needs" to win. The Penguins are on a bit of a slide right now and with the urgency they are facing from management, a home win versus the Coyotes is vital.
