Wendell Carter Jr. Fouls Out After Recording Double-Double
6 years agoChicago Bulls center/power forward Wendell Carter Jr. fouled out in 22 minutes against the Knicks. He could have been in line for a huge night if he stayed out of foul trouble as the game went into double-overtime, but Carter Jr. still had an effective game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win, shooting 3-for-9 from the field. He also blocked two shots and dished out two assists before exiting the game in the fourth quarter. The double-double was Carter's third of the season. The injury riddled Bulls are giving Carter Jr. plenty of run as they await the return of Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis. Carter Jr. will have a tough matchup against the Pelicans on Wednesday who have allowed the fourth fewest rebounds to opposing power forwards.
