Mikko Rantanen Racks Up Three Assists In Overtime Loss
6 years agoColorado Avalanche winger Mikko Rantanen picked up a trio of helpers in his team's loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Friday. The 22-year-old might have finished with a minus-one rating but also contributed a power-play point, two hits and a block in leading the Avalanche in time-on-ice at 24:44. Coming off a 84-point season in his sophomore NHL season, Rantanen's scoring ability is no longer a secret. The talented playmaker leads the entire NHL with 24 points (five goals, 19 assists) and is further demonstrating his excellent chemistry with league superstar Nathan MacKinnon. Fantasy owners should hold onto Rantanen as long as they can and make sure he's inserted into lineups when the Avalanche face the Predators up next on Wednesday.
