Braden Holtby Lit Up By Canadiens In Loss
6 years agoWashington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby allowed five goals on 43 shots during a 6-4 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night. Holtby's record now sits at 4-3-1. The 29-year-old was incredible during the Capitals' run to the Stanley Cup last spring but has struggled in back-to-back regular seasons. Through nine appearances, he has a dismal 3.60 goals-against average and .887 save percentage. The season is still young, but Holtby is not inspiring much confidence in fantasy owners right now. He has proven he is an elite netminder in years past and will get a chance to find his game on Saturday against the Dallas Stars.
