6 years agoDetroit Lions tight end Michael Roberts is the only tight end on the team to garner a red zone target, let alone catch a touchdown through the season's first eight weeks. This week against the Vikings, Roberts has a decent matchup; however, there are still several others in his way to consistently producing. Even with Golden Tate traded to Philadelphia, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones are likely to benefit the most from Tate's departure. Roberts will continue to be nothing more than a touchdown-dependent option at the tight position and should stay on waiver wire's until we see some consistency.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
